My Gateway laptop screen is blank

Hello,
My laptop screen is blank. I hear it turning on and the lights turn on and no screen.I have a gateway NOTEBOOK M-6846. Please help.Thanks.I also tried the fn f4 and the fn f6 and the removal of the battery.

my screen is not turning on after i turned my laptop on.all lights on keypad are working
