Blue screen when installing window xpClosed

Question

Hello,

I'm using Acer Aspire M1641 and now my pc have a problem with the window. Maybe corrupt or virus. So i try to reformat my pc using windows xp professional. But when i start to format my pc, the blue screen appear showed that someting error with my pc. Can someone help me how to solve this problem please?

Hi there,

If you have a sata hard drive this will definitely occur,you will have to disable sat in bios to proceed,link below from Faq will show you how to do it:

I too hv the same problem. later I found out that the mainboard doesnt support WinXP. it supports Vista & above
