DELL XPS M1330 CAN'T TURN ON! Closed

Question

Hello,
I have a Dell XPS M1330. i only turn on the laptop with battery but can't turn on with ac adapter (no power). i though something wrong with the power jack...so i replaced a new jack but still have same problem. i bought a new ac adapter still same problem...Please help!

Hi there,

Get it checked by an electronics technician as its the female inut jack on the motherboard r even a fuse.

Also I have Acer 5601 the wireless Can't connect to internet when ac adapter plugged in and it cannot find or connect to the network but on battery it immediately finds the network and connects. Help me please! Thanks,

i recently had same thing happen to my identical system... jack was dead, required new motherboard!

Thankfully I extended my warranty just 3 weeks earlier... phew!
