Pendrive not detect on windows & linux

Hello,
i have 2 GB trancend pen drive.

When i connect it to windows Xp or linux Machine is gives the error msg."windows can,t recognised this device or it may be malfunctioned." but this pen drive is working fine on fedora core.

Pls give me a solution.

Try formatting it?

i hav formatted it on FC but doesn't work.

try out with different port(data port)

format it with linux in fat /ntfs system
