I restored my desktop but only temporary!!

Hello,
my desktop was missing along with icons.Went to task manager,new task and opened explorer "as administrator",andb all restored.Than I restarted,and,again,it was all missing.I restored it again,but still I have to open all ,for example Mozila, as administrator.How can I fix it permanently?

Dear Jelena,

Please right click on the desktop and get to Arrange Icons and from there select Show Desktop Icons.
