Installing windows xp in windows 7 laptop

Hello,
i am getting problem when i m installing windows xp in my windows 7 installed laptop.
according to a reply in ur forum i have changed my hard disk from ACHI ti IDE
but now my system is not restarting normally.
please reply.

format with window 7 and remove cd then install window xp cd in bignig you will see f6 install sata hd drive driver with usb floppy drive .
then it will install it

After installation of xp you must re activate the sata mode.
