XP-3 Installation Problem

Hello, Whenever I try to install windows service pack-3 in my laptop compaq notebook 610. After loading files, before any hard-drive message box. A error appears at screen that the f drive have viruses..........If will also appear if there is no any f drive parition. How to solve this problem.

Hello,

May I suggest that there is a virus, since there is no F drive, the virus is a little confused or was ill programmed.

Lets see if this will solve the problem:

Download Malwarebyte on your desktop. In case the virus is self protective, rename MBAM to Explorer.exe.

Launch Malwarebyte and update it.

Run a FULL system scan.
