Hello,
I have Windows XP Professional, it's rather old. I had someone re-install the program when my computer crashed and for the past year, I haven't been able to retrieve the correct audio device. In the sounds and Audio Device Properties under Volume it states there is No Audio Device and under Audio it just says Modem #0 Line Playback. So far, nothing I've tried has worked. Will someone please direct me to the right place?

Hi there,

If you are unable to provide the model and series of the machine, its not an issue, what can be done in this situation is to take the help of driver detective and let it find and install the missing drivers for you ,have it downloaded here:

https://ccm.net/downloads/tools/4873-driver-detective/

Thanks
