Hello,
I have a compaq presario laptop, I have tried the advice on this site to re boot. I switched it off, removed the battery, presses the on/off button for 30 seconds at least, had also unplugged the power cable and when i switched it back on it did work for 30 minutes..I was very pleased as I thought it was fixed like other people on here..but suddenly after 30 minutes or less it just went clonk and switched off completely again... I repeated the process, but this time it did not come back on> I noticed the laptop battery was a little warm. Does any one have any suggestions, I think I have to take it to the repair shop now. Would be grateful for any advice.
Thanks
Jan

H i there,
Clean the heat sink inside and make also use of a usb cooler pad as its an overheating issue, its normal with laptops as when the filter is already full with dust thus air cannot flow through out thus system gets hotter and shuts down.
Thanks
