Lost files

Hello,my name is Jason.A few days ago I hooked up my buddies external hard drive to my desk top to copy some concerts.After burning them,I went to send them to my incinerator.But they just disapeared.And now my C drive is showing low disk space.Ive treid using my system machanic professional to find them,but was unable to.What can I do to resolve this???????????????????

If you sent them to the "recycle bin" they are not deleted. You need to right click on the icon and select "empty Recycle Bin".

Both my incinerator and recycle bin show as empty.............

Some CD burners copy the files to the temp folder before burning them. I would clear the temp folders. System Mechanic should have an option to remove junk files - I would also try that.

Ya I use DVD Santa to convert to a DVD format and to burn the DVDs.I send all the temp folders to the incinerator,but when I hooked up my buddies external hard drive.verything went wrong.None of the files went to the incinerator or my recycle bin.But yet my C drive is completely full.Ive used my System Mechanic more then once,but still no luck.Im at a complete loss at what to do.Nothing I do to try to get my C drive down to where it should be works.Even when I use the disc clean up,and now that wont work either.Says not enough space....
