Cricket broadband and ps3

Hello,
I cant seem to connect my ps3 with my cricket modem. When the icon for the enthernet cable comes out it says limited connectivity any help?

You can't do it that way You have to have a cpu or laptop connected to the ps3 with an ethernet cable and on the cpu turn off firewall and set up the cpu to share an internet connection.
