My pendrive is not detected

i have a 4gb pendrive and it is not getting detected in my pc the red colour light in pendrive blinks but der is no msg in my comp dat a new hardware is found n when i click on "mycomputer" or any oher icon my pc gets strucked plz plz heip me its urgent.....................d

Dear Sir,

Please get to the Device Manager and get to its driver. You will easily spot it since there will be an exclamation mark on it. You will have to get it updated for it to work properly.
