Playstation 3 drive faliure

Hello, i bought a playstation 3 from singapore, when i tried it back in england no discs whatsoever would work. what can i do? it download s ok, just wont recognise any discs ??. please help

It's because of your region. Try movies/games from singapore

or, maybe what happened to mines happened to yours. BD Drive laser failure. In that case you need to ask sony(Singapore) to fix it. I live in USA and it costs $150. IDK the price there. Or you could fix it yourself for $45-$80 by buying a KEM-400 AAA BD Laser (Voiding any warranties you may have bought) I'm too broke momentarily for either method, hurts to be 15 years old.
