160GB USB external harddrive is not working

Hi,

I have 160 strore jet model hard disk. Yesterday i found it was not working.
I found there were ants inside the hard disk. I opened it & cleaned it. The disk is still not working. I have stored many important data in the disk.

I need to make it work or to recover the data. Please help..

Hello there,

I am sorry to tell you that if there were ants inside the hard drive it had been damaged, there's nothing you can do

You can try connecting from time to time it can work after some time
