I've been having a problem with Facebook. A person wanted to add themselves as a friend. I accepted the request, but the name continued to appear as his asking me to add him. So I deleted his acceptance and then tried adding him again. Facebook simply told me that they could not add him. I tried a few times but failed.
I sent through a request asking for support but it seems they weren't interested.
On my own, I decided to try to switch to Facebook lite in the hope that I would be able to add the person there so that they would go away from the friend request page.
Unfortunately it logged me out and when I try loading facebook i.e. https://www.facebook.com/login.php?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fhome.php%3Fref%3Dhome or simply www.facebook.com, it keeps re-directing to the facebook lite page which shows up as empty (Google Chrome) or with an HTTP 500 server error (IE). I can't log in any longer to Facebook since doing this as it keeps redirecting me to the lite site and simply not allowing entry at all (as above.)
I have tried deleting my cache etc. and starting anew, but nothing helps.
There might be some errors that are occurring on your account and the best way to have clear information and its solution will be to contact the Facebook Support
