I am unable to connect samsung star to pc

Dear Sir i have installed samsung new pc studio to the pc but when i connect my handste to pc via pc suite i dont get any option to do the setings i.e. the pop up for connection does not come out so request you to kindly provide me the necessary information on hhow to connect samsung star to pc via new pc studio ...
