Ipod nano 3rd gen. not recognized in itunes 9 Closed

Question

Hi everyone!

My ipod (3rd gen. nano, 4GB) is no longer recognized in itunes 9.1.
I use Windows XP.

What I did already (followed all instructions I could find online)
*Reinstall itunes a dozen of times (several versions, antivir and internet connection turned off while installing)
*Removing all music from library, emptying temp files, stopping device and turning on again in services tab
*Using other cable
*Trying on other computer (itunes 8.2) DID WORK
*Installing 8.2 myself once more...

NOTHING solved the message 'Software for ipod not installed correctly..."

Could anyone PLEASE HELP me solving this ongoing problem??
