Windows Media Player

When i want to play a song in windows Media Player, there is somethng coimig up says(Windows Media player canot play the file becaus there is a problem with your sound dvice. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, orit may nobe functioning ptperly) it actually accrd when i delete sonar 8 studio and installed it back o maybe another problem. i appriciate it if you can help me.
