Pentium 4 extreme edition?

Hello,
I have been saving some money to buy a really good cpu. Money doesn't matter and whatever is the price of s good cpu I would buy it. I will be using highest demanding programs with it like autocad and adobe premier. I want really a good cpu and I been looking for the intel Pentium 4 extreme edition so anyone can help me out there?

Why do you want a Pentium 4 it's over 4 years old? The fastest Intel CPU is the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770

What socket does your motherboard have ?

The best socket 478 p4 ever made is the gallatin p4 3.4ghz Extreeme edition with 2mb l3 catche ..
..but modern processors like core2quad are mutch more cost effective if you have a motherboard that supports them.

Those old p4 use to cost over 1000€ new ... now still around 200 .. allways been over priced!!
