i have the same problem, intel doesnt support my dp35dp mobo audio for windows 7 but luckily windows 7 supports it as an HD audio device and sound is working just fine except that my front panel audio connectors don't work, i can see them in the control panel but they are always unplugged, the reson for this is becouse there is no IDT or sigmatel control panel to set the "disable audio device detection" to off. i've tried alot of work arounds for this but nothing seems to work. none of the "so called" drivers work and you end up having to go back to the generic windows 7 driver, so i guess we just have to wait until either intel decide to support the audio driver like they have everything else on the motherboard or microsoft add a "disable audio device detection" on there next driver update
