The sims wont work on my computer

I have been trying and trying to make my sims game work! I have read online that i need to delete stuff that i am not using/or dont need....and my game still doesnt work. Did everything i could. Still not working. I have tryed turning my computer on and off, still not working. If anyone has anything on what can help me fix my game, please comment !
