No Sound

Hi!
A have a problem with my laptop.After installing some programes,there vas no sound from the laptop.the the volume doesn't work in any way.
When I go to Control Panel-Sounds and audio devices-It's impossible to work on the volume.i click on it and nothing happens.
Sometimes appears no audio device found.
Someone coul help me?

Hi there,

Open run and type msconfig.ms press ok/enter ,when open choose normal startup,then restart machine to have the setting to take effect.
