Sound Help

I'm running Windows 7. Lately, my sound will not work at all! I'm not sure what's wrong; Originally, I had to jiggle the wire that's inside the jack a little, getting it positioned in a certain way, and it'd go right back to normal. Eventually, that wouldn't work, so I'd just restart the computer.

However, NOTHING has been working recently. Help?

Dear Jagz,

Please check whether you need to get the sound driver updated in the Device Manager for having it working properly.
