How do I backup my OUTLOOK emails?

Hi,

How do I make a makeup for my OUTLOOK mails?

Do I need a removable backup unit or can I create a FILE for it?

HI, I found the *.pst file/folder, but not able to open it. Do you mean I have to backup in a disk or something, then open the files. Please advise the procedures to gain access to the files. Thanks!
