Windows Vista Laptop

I spilt a V& T on my laptop on Sunday it has dried out but I cannot get a picture on the screen all the light come on but nothing.

I do not have an instruction manual so not sure what to do next, I've been told to look along the top row of symbols of keys for one with a monitor on it, then press and hold down the FN key and then press the key with the monitor, but I'm at a loss as to which keys these are.

Can someone please help me
