Help! I have done a really stupid thing!! I have a Dell Inspiron laptop and when I was last in Windows I went into the Control Panel and disabled both the 'plug and play' and 'default' monitor in the Settings area (Stupid, right!). Now when I turn on my laptop the computer starts up fine, it runs through the BIOS and starts windows, but then goes blank. The computer won't start in safe mode either. It just runs through lines of text and then stops. Can someone please tell me how I can possibly fix this software problem without having the reset my computer and loose everything on there? Thanks.

(Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated)

Dear Sir,

Please consider restoring the laptop to factory settings in order to have the problem fixed.

Thank you.
