I phone will not delete an email Closed

Question

My I phone will not delete one of my emails.  I always shows up as unread.  I gives me a message of "can not move to trash" no matter what I do.  I took it back to ATT and they were of no help.  

I also have problems with the screen going black and it takes seveal minutes for it to return.

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

There might be some problems that occured while opening the mail, hence causing such trouble.
