acer aspire 5738z Closed

Question

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

hi all,
since i put win7 ultimate on my laptop the dvdrw drive wont work! 
it had yellow "!" mark nxt to it but said i had the best driver or it so i uninstalled and rebooted then my laptop said it was installed and ready to use.
so i tried to use it and guess wot? NOTHING.
in device manager there was nothing for dvd or cd drive and even my nero wont pick up the drive!

PLEASE HELP

Dear Sir, 

Please consider reinstalling the previous driver and get to the Device manager and right click on it and select Update Driver in order to get the problem solved.
