windows wont startClosed

Question

My dell inspiron 640m wont start. it sends me to  the screen where it says that windows did not shut down properly and asks me how i want it to start (safe mode, last known good configuration, start normaly) but none of these options work. when i select them the windows loading screen pops up but then its back to the begining( i see dell loading and back to asking me how to start windows) 

can anyone help

its either somone screwed up your registry or you got a virus, the only way to recover from that is reinstalling Windows, deleteing everything

BUT!!!! if your lucky, you have a vista/7

so go to the Repair now, and grab as much data you can and store it somewhere else
