Reboot and select proper boot device or inse Closed

Question

I have a problem of restarting my ASUS minilaptop the problem says: Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key. I have a CD on this and i transfered(copy) all the contents of the CD to USB. I need a guide to fix my laptop...any help...

Select your boot device in bios making boot priority to hard disk,please give more information,are you planning for a format?

how to convert the recovery disc content into the usb? because my asus has no disctop hence, only the usb can do to recover my os.
