Hello Everyone,

I need your expertise in this.

I want to do the following. In a list I input data consisting of Amounts, Expense Type, and Date of expense.

Now on the top I have created a table with Rows Months, and Columns the Expense Type. I have locked the user entry of expense type creating a list.

Now I want to SUMIF (or any other formula), the data I input, in the table to the correct cell. It is basically a sorting to a two input table...but I am REALLY confused in this.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to experiment for the solution?

Could you please upload a sample file with sample data etc on some shared site like https://authentification.site and post back here the link to allow better understanding of how it is now and how you foresee.
