What affect prformnce/Speed, RAM or Processor

We have RAM and Processor in out system. Many people say that ram increases the speed of computer and many say that processor. I want to get clarify that what affect the computer performance/ speed, RAM or Processor.
and also tell me what performance improvement occurs when we change RAM and what performance occurs when we change processor.

Hi there,

Both are true and correct in its ways ,you add more ram you can work faster with applications and faster processor makes processing more rapidly.
