Itunes closes after downloading my songs

Hi so the problem is that my itunes keeps on closing after it finishes downloading my songs so when its complete, my laptop just shuts off and i don't know if anyone else has this problem? and i cant find the solution so can someone please help me :)
are there anyway i can change this though settings? for my itunes...if so can you tell me the steps to stop this

Hi,

I don't know why your PC shuts down too, but I know that there's kind of shut down function in iTunes - found it on the Apple Homepage.

But, I'd suggest to remove iTunes, QuickTime and Apple Mobile Device from your PC and re-install iTunes after-wards, this fixes most problems (Quick Time and the Mobile Device will be automatically re-installed with iTunes). Hope it helps.
