Ipod Nano Not recognized by Itunes

Hello,

I recently updated my itunes and now my Nano is not recognized, in devices or in itunes. When plugged into my mac, the ipod will charge but is the device is not detected.

Any suggestions?

Downloading the wrong version isn't the problem. If it's not right it just wont work, I have the same problem but i have the right version installed. It wont recognise my ipod and neither will my windows, it just charges and thats it, help.

Kelly, If you had an old Nano like mine, the only way to have it recognized is to have the old version of itunes.You will have to delete your itunes and reinstall an older version. :(:(:(
