Hello, I'm currently having a problem with the sound system.
My audio could not be heard even tho the music player is playing.
This happen after i cleared my C: drive, because it's critically low in memory.
I came across this application "SoundMAX" and i removed it.
I'm using Window XP professional, and is there a possibility that this happened is due to me removing the SoundMAX application?

I tried going into the Volume Control and it show a pop up:

There are no mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printer and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware.
This program will close now.

I tried doing what it told me to, but it never seems to find that particular application.

I came across this suggestion in one of the threads.
"Go to Control panel, Hardware, Device Manager, Sound Video and Game Controllers, Right click on Unknown and Update Driver. This updated an Audio Compatability Driver, restart your system and you should be good to go."

But there is no Unknown.

I don't use a speaker because the Audio comes out from my CPU.
Is it because the software is spoiled or i have done something wrong?

Thank you.
