Hello,
I have a local area connection which goes through a Livebox router, there are two laptops and one PC that connect to this. I would like to be able to use the command prompt to access the laptops' files using the pushd command when using my PC. I can access the PC itself by typing "pushd \\ADMIN-PC\C$\" but when I typed "pushd \\ACER-RICHARD\C$\" it says the network name cannot be found, despite being able to see the computer when I type in net view. I have tried to use "acer-richard" to access "admin-pc" by typing "pushd \\ADMIN-PC\C$\" and it has said "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password" and acess denied. How can I solve this? plzz help me

It is a commen fact that when you use software like net send or pushd. It needs to Identity where the message must be deliver to. So do not use the User name to specify the delivery point, use the IP address or the comp name. then it will work
