Xp keeps rebooting on start up

Hello,





All of a sudden Xp keeps rebooting while loading up. It gets to the splash screen and then reboots. I can't get into safe mode, same thing happens. Even if I chose safe mode command prompt it will just reboot.

I am desperate to try and save the files/applcations on the computer so am reluctant to reinstall
