Hello,

Hello,

Regardless of what device i try and attach to my laptop, when I try to open that device my laptop asks me to format it. Its really frustrating and I don't know if I have a virus. For instance, I tried attaching my ipod, a usb card or an SD card and all of them are asked to be formatted when I try to open them through windows.

Can someone please help!

Hi there,

The devices are having errors and not readable by windows for which formatting is required, whenever connected those devices on any system, make safe remove so as not to have files corrupted.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for providing your response. Just to clarify my Ipod, etc all work on my wife's laptop. However, when I try accessing them on my laptop, i am not able to do so. I have even agreed to format thew device when asked by windows. However, even after the formatting procedure is finished, I still cannot access it, and the I am asked again to format.

Hi there,

it seems there is some problem in your system, however i'll suggest try your usb etc on someone else computer who is having a good antivirus, if you are able to use it there then you need a good antivirus. also i'll suggest to use it on a different usb port on your system.

Thanks
