Hello, i've just got an older Gateway labtop from a friend. They where using an op system that i didnt like and they wanted some of their old files deleted so i "WIPE DRIVED" it and uploaded "Windows XP", but now i cant seem to get the built in wireless to work. I was hoping someone might have some suggestions that would fix this problem.

Any suggestions would be a big help, thanks.

You need to install wireless adapter driver. If you have not done yet, go to Gateway website to download wireless adapter driver and install it, after that have a look on this wireless adapter configuration article to connect to wireless network, hope able to help you.
