Where did my Explorer 8 tab view go?

Hello,

A couple of days ago, I clicked on Internet Explorer and where each new tab showed images of my most used websites and a right side favorites bar used to be are now all gone. I liked that feature and it saved time for me because it was so direct. I want it back. I could not do a system date restore--said some files were incorrect. This is VERY annoying.
