same as my problem..probably because of earthing shock..damaged your graphcs card...remove the ram,hard disk,and then try to turn on ,if t gets on ur bios,then ur mobo is working,if it is stll black,then u need to change your mobothat is motherboard...

Ram is not the hard drive if you remove the rams it wont work
if you remove the rams,the motherboard will sound beeping noise which means your motherboard (mobo) is still working.
tpayne said he cannot see anything in the monitor,which means its mainly processor or mobo problem..he needs to replace it.if you remove the hard disk, the bios will get u to an error.bios is the startup screen when you turn on the computer
