My ipod is stuck!

Hello,
i was connecting my ipod to my laptop, trying to add some stuff on it
when my itunes stopped responding as well as my ipod..
the itunes was fine after i restarted it but my ipod is still stuck,
wont respond to anything (charging or other computers)..it is supposedly open and locked
still showing the last song i was listening to but it acts dead :(

i dont have my 9800 songs backed up, is there a way to fix this without erasing them??
please please help me!
