IE stopped working

Hello,
i always used internet explorer to access internet, that stopped working, and now i can only access internet through safari, tried uninsalling internet explorer and re-installing but it keeps saying a more upto date internet explorer is already on laptop.

Hello,

Before reinstalling IE8, you must:

1. Ensure that it is no longer in your programme files.

2. Ensure that it is no longer in your application data files.

Use your search tool to find these files and delete them.

Finally, you must also ensure that all IE files are deleted from your registry.

I suggest this free registry cleaner which is very efficient.

Dowload and run it.

https://www.eusing.com/free_registry_cleaner/registry_cleaner.htm

It may find also other registry errors.

Last, reinstall IE8
