Cant swtich on windows

Hi,
I just build up a new pc and I connected everything correctly but when I switch it on only the red light lights up not the green one and after some times it switches off by itself. I have checked almost everything and I think that the problem is coming from the motherboard. Whats your opinion do you think it may be coming form the power supply unit also?

Hello,
I would prefer to say that the problem is rather with your cpu being overheated and this explains why it is being shut down by itself or another alternative would be that the motherboard is corrupted and just try one thing with the motherboard just try to fit in a weak cpu and see it it starts up.
