How to print screen on Mac ?

Hello,
How do I capture the screen on a Mac (like I always do on windows 'print screen and paste') so that I may print it or save it as an image, I have an Hp LaserJet?

what iff the print screen button won't work??

You go to the Applications folder, double-click "Utilities", choose Grab.app, and a pair of scissors are in your dock. There's a menu that says "Capture" and choose one there and there you have it!
