Can virus still persist even after formatting

Hello,
my memory card was infected with virus. i scanned it three time with updated antivirus scan. but still I was doubtfull so i formatted it by using laptop. but when i opened it again it showed three weird folders..
ii.exe
iii.exe
iiii.exe
i formatted the card again but still same problem is persisting...
what should i do?
plz help me...

First scan your laptop for viruses. May be virus is getting transferred from your laptop when you open your memory card.

Try this 1

click on start-->run-->type cmd---->click on ok

Command prompt will be opened.

then enter the following command in the prompt

format you_memorycard_driverletter: --->press enter ( note there is : after the driver letter

Insert new disk for drive K:
and press ENTER when ready... -->message will be appeared.

then press enter again

it will format your memorycard
you can enter your volume label name or just press enter.

then if your memory card is G drive, type the following command

dir --->press enter

now check if it contains any files.

maybe get a better anti-virus protection than what ever you got. download Avast 5.0 then do a full scan or do a Malwarebytes scan on it or a Boot-time Scan
