Hello,
i recently got a computer and formatted a old hardrive. My computer gets stuck in the bios screen where it displays all the drivers and media you have and it says something about a ethernet gigbit controller. Then i popped in the Windows xp cd and didnt boot from it and it worked fine and everything worked and loaded up. so my computer only works if i put in the windows cd before i start it up but then once windows loads i can take it out. i want to be able to not use the cd everytime to boot up because me and my friends lan all the time and i may forget it. does anyone know how to fix this prob?
ps i already reformatted it 5 more times and same thing happens.

You need to update the network adapter.
Boot with the Windows CD in and
go to Start - Control Panel - System - Device Manager - click + next to Network adapter and double click the ....... Gigibit controller then select "Driver" tab Update driver and Update Driver
