New modem

Hello,
Went from earthlink dsl to time warner cable internet. have linksys wrt54gs router.will not talk to new modem.what do i need to do

You need to reset the router using the reset hole/switch on the back. Then follow the instructions from time warner. You DSL connection was probably a PPPoe connection that is very much different from the common cable modem connection.
