My usb storage device is not working

Hello,
I bought my usb 2.0 storage device not so long ago i installed it no problems but iv gone to use it again and the computer is not even picking it up. Im going to click into files and its telling me there is nothing in there when i know there is can u please help me ???

Hi,
try this 1
First right click on your drive --> select "Properties"-->check your "Used Space"
If its showing you used space, but you are unable to see the files, then
Click on Start--->select "Run"---> type cmd and click on ok.
Go to your usbdrive, Ex: If your usb drive is G drive then enter this command
g: ------>press enter
Then enter this command in your usb drive
attrib -h -r -s /s /d *.* ------->press enter
or
You can also download and try freecommander application which shows hidden
files.
