Laptop will not power onClosed

Question

Hello, 

I have a Dell Studio 1535 laptop and it will not power on.  I push the power button and nothing happens.  When I plug the power adapter in the charging light will come on for ~1 sec and then turn off.  If I take out the battery and put it back in while the charger is connected, the charging light will flash from white to red then white again.  I don't know what is going on. Does anybody have any idea?  Thank you.



Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.6.4

Dear Sir,

Please check whether you are not using a faulty charger causing such difficulty and also if the battery is not loose in it.
